Brian has done work for us before. We recently bought a plug-in hybrid and I wanted to be sure our wiring could handle it. I looked up the requirements in the owners manual and asked him what he thought. He took a look at our system and determined it met those requirements and would work fine. Question answered in 1 day and he didn’t charge us for it. He is a real straight shooter.

Pulled apart the kitchen light switch thinking I knew what I was doing, (I kind of did until there were 3 sets of wires and I'd blindly disconnected everything already) and this man walked me through wiring everything back up as it should be as well as the installment of a new dimmer switch over the phone. Couldn't be anymore thankful, highly recommend.
I accidentally requested support from Van Haus Electric thinking they served the Redmond, Washington area when in reality they serve Redmond, Oregon. They were kind enough to review my issue remotely and provide some meaningful recommendations. Some seriously good-hearted people.

Brian and his crew are great: very efficient and down to business but also personable and polite. They were always there when we really needed them and we have total confidence in their operation. We’ve had a lot of people work on our place since we moved here last year. These guys are in the top two! One last thing, I think Brian checks his messages frequently . Every time we contacted him, we got a response that day or first thing the next morning.
We woke up to a buzzing sound coming from around our dishwasher on the day of my husband’s surgery. Frantically, I called Brian at Von Haus Electric and he trouble shot with me over the phone but we couldn't figure it out. He immediatly headed over to our home because of our time constraints. He looked in a drawer and found that a wireless frother had been turned on in the drawer causing the buzz. We laughed and he didn't charge us anything. I will absolutely call him again if I need anything electrical. Brian went above and beyond. Truly a valued service that is so hard to find these days!
Lost power to half of our house. Called Brian, and he was able to fit us in the same day. It seems that wires that never move can still work their way loose, Who knew? Brian.....that's who. Not only that but he knew how to find them. It took a bit to locate the exact wire, but in the process, he made sure it wouldn't happen to any of the others. I was in a bind with an electrical panel that was a fire hazard. Von Haus was able to diagnose, get me safe, and get a new panel installed before I could get bigger companies out to help. I’ll be calling them anytime I need electrical work now.

His price was much lower than the others. He stated he believes in fair price and not over charging. His work is great, clean and efficient. He returned my text message almost immediately. Brian was recommended by a real estate broker friend of ours, and we honestly couldn't be more pleased with everything about our experience. We wanted to have a number of new recessed light fixtures installed in our 30-year-old home. Brian came out, discussed placement options, told us about the different types of lights available, and made a number of great suggestions. His bid was professionally presented, clear, complete, and very fair. Even better was the job itself. Brian was on time, did the work exactly as promised, and even though we'd been warned he'd have to make a lot of holes in the drywall to run the wires, he kept them to a minimum and was extremely neat and clean in his work. Even the drywaller who came in later to do the repair work was impressed with how clean his installation was. Bottom line: Brian gave a fair estimate, didn't upcharge, completed the work on-time and on-budget, kept the site clean, and was very friendly and easy to work with. Very highly recommended!!
Brian is a total professional. He returned my call in a timely manner, scheduled an appointment and called to tell me he was on his way. He installed a new ceiling fan and relocated another one, having to make some custom adaptions to make it work. Brian really knows what he's doing and he's super personable. I will never use anyone else when I need an electrician. He's simply the best!
Very respectful and responsible Business Man
When our main power pole broke Brian made it out right away to give us an estimate. He quickly arranged for the pole to be reset and was here early that morning and had everything prepared before the pole company showed up (on time) and had the new base and wiring repaired much faster than I expected. He had also scheduled for the power company to be here to do there shut off and recharge at just the right time. Brian knew what to do, who to call and had everything including the inspector scheduled perfectly. He even offered to bring out a generator Which we didn’t need as we were without power for less than 6 hours. His prices were right in line with what our insurance covered and his final bill was actually a couple hundred dollars less than his initial estimate due to work he did to save us some money. Fair price, timely, efficient and high quality work; just what you hope for in anyone working on your home. I highly recommend Brian and will definitely use him again when needed!
Lost power on a hot day, called around and no one could help. Called Von Haus and Brian was able to show up within a couple hours and fix the problem quickly and get us back in Air conditioning. Highly recommend them and will be using them again.

Brian absolutely saved the day. We are in escrow and the inspection discovered our panel was not up to code. Brian came highly recommended by our realtor and her very large firm out of Central Oregon. I called Brian, on a Sunday, and he actually picked up the phone! I explained our urgent need for help. He asked how quickly we needed the work done. When I expressed we were down to the wire, pun intended, he said he'd squeeze us in the next day-as long as were were flexible with his arrival time. It felt too good to be true and I quietly feared he may get too busy and forget about his promise. He kept his word. He gave us a 20 minute notice and arrived as promised. He didn't nickel and dime us. He thought based on the inspection report, the work would take a few hours. He was in and out in ONE HOUR! I fully recommend Brian and his small business. Another huge value he brought to the table was his knowledge of building codes and how our hot tub needed to be set up to meet code and pass inspection. To top it off - nice guy! After losing power to several plugs and an overhead light we called Brian who was extremely professional and courteous. He advised that he was finishing a job and could come over later in the afternoon. Upon arrival Brian quickly accessed the situation and diagnoised the problem. He thoroughly checked the wiring in all of the affected plugs and switches and restored power. Brian also checked a dimmer switch I had recently installed myself to ensure I had done it correctly. Brian was very detail oriented, he used a level to make sure all the switches lined up and looked perfect. Brian did a great job for us. He was punctual, diligent, and professional. I asked him for an adjustment after the job was completed, and he happily came back for the adjustment. He is also very honest; in reviewing his bill, he discovered a small error and actually sent me a refund! Who does that anymore? I trust Brian's abilities and dedication to his trade. This gentleman deserves the highest rating! I called 4 businesses and he was the only one to answer the phone. More to the point, he walked me through solving my problem on the phone without charge! Thanks to him, I saved refrigerator's full stock of food. His generous donations of time and expertise was something I don't experience much these days. On Friday night of a holiday weekend we lost power to our shop, house water well and irrigation pumps. We were desperate with no water, no refrigeration and a freezer full of meat! Tripped the circuit that controlled the outlets on my deck while I was power washing. No breakers were tripped in any of the panels. Could not find a GFI in the adjacent garage. I was completely stumped. I called Von Haus and explained the situation. He suggested some things to look for that I had already checked. Then he asked how old the house was. As soon as I told him it was 27 years old he immediately said "Check the bathrooms." I had already checked the master bath but hadn't even thought to check the 2nd bathroom. Problem solved. I offered to pay hm for his help. He declined money, but asked that I write a review on Google. So here it is.
