Tenant improvement work is one of those jobs where the electrical has to be done right from the start. You can't open your doors with lighting that's uneven, circuits that aren't mapped out properly, or wiring that's going to cause headaches down the road. Getting it right during the build-out phase saves everyone a lot of time and money later.
This is a mid-construction snapshot of a commercial space we're working on here in Bend. The framing is still open on one side, which is exactly where we want to be - it gives us full access to run wire cleanly, position fixtures exactly where they need to go, and make sure everything is tied in properly before the walls close up.
The recessed lighting you see going in across that drop ceiling grid is already functioning. That's intentional. We like to get lights live early in the process so the rest of the trades can see what they're working with. Clean fixture placement in a drop ceiling grid sounds simple, but it takes planning - you have to account for HVAC, framing, and grid layout all at once.
Commercial tenant improvements move fast. There are general contractors, timelines, inspections, and a business owner counting on everything coming together before their open date. We know how to work within that environment. Our job is to keep the electrical moving so nothing else on the job gets held up.
Good commercial electrical work isn't flashy - it's just solid. Circuits that are labeled, fixtures that are level, wiring that's run clean behind the walls. That's what a space needs to function well for years, and that's what we focus on delivering every time.
